had a conversation last week with a 10 year old girl about the s5 finale and i can’t stop thinking about it. she said nathalie is the best because she loves adrien enough to lie to him about his father so that he stays happy. completely convinced that emilie was resurrected at the end and shocked when i suggested otherwise. i’ve been dying to know what the children think happened and it’s so interesting
#anna rambles#ml s5#ml season 5#ml#i personally don’t think that adrien’s gonna find out anything in future seasons#which to me feels unsatisfying#but it’s interesting that (from my sample size of one child) maybe the kids would see that as a good thing#it felt to me like the show was framing it as a good thing at least#so it would be interesting to find out how more of the (young) target audience perceived it#bc i feel like most of the adult fans i’ve seen online assume that adrien will find out or at least would find it unsatisfying if he didnt#when i asked if she thought it could’ve been amelie at the end her jaw dropped and she said ‘no because he’s always down there talking#about how he’s gonna bring his wife back! he says it all the time and that’s what he did!’#& i was like. girl yeah you’re right😭 that is also what i thought when i saw it😭#anyway I need to talk to more kids about ml. for science

im supposed to learn how to render an Animation but this guy wants me to render each frame as a png with over 100 samples each. & i simply will Not be doing that so heres a still image of some donuts
#do NOT be fooled i was following a step by step tutorial this is not as impressive as it may look#my laptop is decent enough to play a game & stream it was not made for rendering 3d animations i fear#...Mayyybe ill set it to render overnight but thats still like 300+ samples of 160 frames. if i hear another person talk about a retro game, system, or computer having a specific "soundfont" i think i'm gonna lose all will to live and spontaneously drop dead in front of them
#juney.txt#not how it works besties#older 8 bit machines generally had bespoke synthesizer chips that could output some square waves and some noise.#maybe some sine and saw waves if you were lucky#the megadrive had a yamaha chip in it but sega the bastards never gave devs proper instructions on how to use it#so a lotttt of devs just used the inbuilt settings on the development software they had#so a lot of megadrive games sound similar even though the system was technically capable of a lot more </3#the snes was allllll samples all day#any sounds you wanted you had to hand to the chip in advance#no inbuilt synths for you#anyway in all of these cases music data was just stored as raw computer instructions.#literally just code telling the audio hardware what to do each frame#no midis involved and simply slapping a soundfont someone made on a midi file someone else made does not constitute an ''8-bit'' cover

#nearly the first blender thing ive ever made :3#tried using it in highschool and didnt make much and it was like 10 years ago#followed The Tutorial and i think it turned out well#cycles renderer is looooong tho#1024 samples / 60 fps / 320 frames / 36 hours#maybe would've been under 12 hours if i went for 500 samples & 30 fps but gotta go hard i guess#3d#blender#lizabeth makeabeth
